Chaolite® Adhesive Activated Yarn

840-3000D

Adhesive-activated yarn, also known as AAY, is a type of yarn that is coated with an adhesive substance. The yarn is dealt with adhesion activated (AA) additive, which enhances the adhesion properties for coatings with rubber, TPU, etc. Reinforcement of textile rubber undergoes a vulcanization process to adhere the textile materials with the rubber and enhance the product's physio-mechanical properties. Overall, adhesive-activated yarn is versatile with many potential applications in the textile and non-woven fabric industries.

High breaking tenacity

High breaking tenacity refers to the ability of a material to withstand stress and resist breaking or tearing. In the case of adhesive-activated yarn, high breaking tenacity means that the thread has been engineered to have a high level of strength and durability, making it suitable for use in demanding applications where it will be subjected to heavy loads or other stresses.

Stable hot air shrinkage

In the case of adhesive-activated yarn, stable hot air shrinkage means that the yarn has been designed to resist shrinkage or deformation when exposed to high temperatures, ensuring that it remains stable and maintains its original size and shape.

Strong Adhesion to rubber

Adhesive-activated yarn with strong adhesion to rubber is an important material for many manufacturing processes that involve rubber, as it helps to improve the quality and performance of the final product. By providing a strong bond between the rubber and the yarn, it can help to increase the durability, strength, and reliability of rubber products, while also reducing the likelihood of defects or other issues that can arise from poor bonding.

Applications

The adhesive-activated yarn is widely used in the dipping system of mechanical rubber goods, e.g., dipped cloth of conveyor belts, tire cords, and reinforcement material in the rubber hose.

Storage and Transportation

Export in film jumbo or carton packing, normally filled up with containers.
