Polypropylene

MFR Melt Flow Rate

PP polymer, also known as polypropylene, is a thermoplastic polymer made from the monomer propylene. PP polymer is commonly used in packaging materials, such as plastic bags and containers, as well as in textiles, medical devices, automotive components, and other applications. High crystalline polypropylene is also recyclable, making it an environmentally friendly choice for many products.

Polypropylene ( PP ) is non-toxic, odorless, tasteless, opalescent high crystal polymer with a melting point of 164~170 °C, a density of 0.90 ~ 0.91g / cm³, a molecular weight of about 80 ~ 150 thousand. The PP polymer is one of the lightest varieties of all plastics.

Also, polypropylene is particularly stable to water, absorbing just 0.01% of water over 24 hours.

Applications

Homogenous polypropylene PPH-T035 ( L5E89 ):

Raffia Grade polypropylene resin can be applied to textile and non-woven fibers, filaments, monofilaments, woven bags, 25kg grain bags, large bags, carpet pads, carpet backing, etc. Biaxially oriented polypropylene ( BOPP ) film is mainly used in biscuit trays, bread, candies, labels, cigarette packaging, etc.

Polypropylene PPB-M03( K8003 ):

Low melt copolymerization is mainly used in trays, turnover boxes, stools, battery shells, MPP power tubes, plates and oil tanks, and other industrial products.

It is also used to make kitchenware, toys, toolboxes, travel cases, other miscellaneous articles, packaging containers, and other fields.

Storage and Transportation

Polypropylene resin is non-dangerous goods.

In the process of transportation, loading and unloading, it is strictly prohibited to use sharp tools such as iron hooks, or to throw them. The conveyance shall be kept clean, dry and equipped with sheds and waterproof cloth.

During transportation, it shall not be mixed with sand, broken metal, coal and glass, etc., nor can it be mixed with toxic and corrosive, flammable or pollutants. No exposure to the sun or rain.

Notes

Polypropylene resin should be stored in a ventilated, dry, clean warehouse with good fire-fighting facilities. When storing, keep away from heat source and prevent direct sunlight. It is strictly prohibited to pile up in the open air.
